Look to the skies on 7th and 8th August as Blackpool Air Show returns for a fantastic FREE family event that’s like nothing you’ve seen before.  The UK’s first official air show took place along Blackpool beach back in 1909. One hundred and seven years later, the Blackpool Air Show is one of the longest-running in the country and is an impressive weekend where you can expect to see  stunts and fly-bys from some of the most spectacular aircraft in the world..

Last year Blackpool Air Show included one of the last appearances from the Vulcan Bomber, the Red Arrows, British-based Breitling Wingwalkers, a Chinook helicopter and the RV8tors aerobatic display team. The organisers have promised that the full line up for 2016’s show will be even more impressive than last year.
